Donations... How can you help?

The Centres are funded from a number of voluntary sources.

The Port Welfare Levy

All ships visiting the Southampton Port are invited to pay a small levy on each port call to support the work of the Centre. This levy is organised in conjunction with The Southampton Shipowner's Association.

Shop and Bar

The modest profits from the shop and bar sales make a small contribution to the centre running costs.

Phone cards

Sales of phone cards in the Centres' and by Chaplains and ship visitors also help to support our activities.

Special Fundraising

The supporters of the Centres organise fund raising events from time to time. These are advertised in the local press.

Gift Aid

Donations and bequests to the Centres are vital if our welfare work is to be sustained in the longer term. Donations may be gift aided.
