The newly opened ecumenical Seafarers Centre is situated close to the Fawley Refinery gate 2.
The Centre is open and unstaffed 7 days a week 24 hours a day.
The Fawley Seafarers Centre is owned and managed by Centres for Seafarers, an ecumenical collaboration of the three largest Christian Maritime Mission Societies.
The Centre is funded entirely by a grant from the Merchant Navy Welfare Board.
The three Chaplains, representing Apostleship of the Sea, The Sailors' Society and The Mission to Seafarers are based in the Southampton Centre and regularly visit Fawley.

The Centre has two fast Internet stations, WiFi and a laptop docking station and all maybe used for a small fee. There are also 4 telephone booths to allow private communications with home. (see also Facilities). The Centre provides a quiet haven away from the noise and bustle of normal shipboard life.
A dispensing vending machine is available for SIM Cards and Phone Cards.
Come in for a chat, meet other seafarers, relax, have a coffee.
