Southampton City Christmas Concert on December 13th 2011

More than 600 people gathered in the Ocean Terminal in Southampton Docks for the annual City Carol Concert in aid of the Southampton Seafarers Centre. Music was provided by the Southampton City Youth Brass Band and the singing by the wonderful VoxPop Choir.

The evening was compared by Paul Clifton of BBC TV South and readings by the three Chaplains and Supporters of the Centre.

More than £2000 was raised in aid of the Centre and it's work in the port.

The Trustees would like to thank everyone who contributed to a wonderful evening and particularly to Associated British Ports for the use of the Ocean Terminal.

2012 event is already booked and it will be on Wednesday December 12th 2012 in the Ocean Terminal. More details on the website nearer the time.
