Facilities
The centre provides a comfortable relaxed environment for seafarers visiting the port. Tea and coffee are continuously available free of charge. A small bar is also available for soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Telephones
The Centre has 10 phone booths, which will accept most seafarers phone cards.
Mission phone cards are available from the bar for $5 or $10 and provide excellent rates to most countries.
Phone cards may also be purchased from Centre Ship Visitors.
Caution... Phone cards may also be offered for sale to you by others, they may or may not be genuine, please be careful and only buy cards from the Chaplains or Centre Ship Visitors. All Chaplains and Centre Ship Visitors will have clearly marked helmets and safety jackets.

Internet
The Centre has a small Internet café from which emails can be sent and received. Access to the system will cost £1 GBP for 30 minutes.
Our Internet café uses state of the art equipment, Firewalls, Virus Protection and Broadband technology for fast and reliable connection.
All our computers have floppy disk drives to allow seafarers to bring in their personal correspondence from their ship on a floppy disk for emailing home.
Please note... Internet access from our Internet café to any pornography site is blocked.

The Chapel
The Centre chapel is always open and available for private prayer. Daily prayers, led by the duty Chaplain, are held in the Chapel at 08:50 Mondays to Fridays.
An Anglican Eucharist is held in the chapel at 10:30 every Sunday. Other services and Masses can be arranged directly with the Chaplains.
Prayer cards and votive candles are available in the chapel.
The Centre Manager can provide details of local Mosques and other places of worship in the City.

Recreation
Table Tennis, Pool, Bar Football are available, as are musical instruments.
The Canberra Room is a quiet non smoking area for those who wish to take advantage of our extensive library which contains books in many languages. All books may be loaned from the Centre free of charge.
Warm knitted hats, scarves and socks are usually available for visiting seafarers. A small donation to the Centres' costs would be appreciated for these goods.

Rememberance Garden
The dedicated Garden of Rememberance is sited beside the Cloister and contains personal memorials to local seafarers.
The garden is accessed through wrought iron gates donated by the Ladies Guild and is maintained by volunteers who support the Centre.

Foreign Exchange
Limited forex is available from US$ and Euros to Sterling. Exchange rates are usually better than the banks, no commission is charged.

Bus Transport
The Centre runs a limited mini bus service. Ship visitors may pick up seafarers wishing to visit the Centre during the day. To check bus availability call the Centre on +44 (0)23 8033 3106.
The mini bus is usually available to collect seafarers from the Western, Eastern and Container berths between 18:00 and 20:00. The Centre will provide a bus service from Fawley, leaving the refinery security gate at 18:30. Seafarers should request this pick up service by calling the Centre on +44 (0)23 8033 3106 by 16:00. The bus will leave the Centre to return to Fawley at 21:30 and to the other docks by about 22:00.
